500 years after the Lutheran Reformation, the Diocese of Fiesole and St. Sophia University Institute are organizing a meeting entitled "What does Luther have to tell us today?" The appointment is set for Friday, May 12, at 6 p.m. at the Loppiano Auditorium (Via San Vito 28, Incisa).
Speakers will be Stefan Andrea Tobler (full professor of Theology at "Lucian Blaga" University in Sibiu and director of the Institute for Ecumenical Research, both based in Romania) and Hubertus Blaumeiser (Catholic Luther expert, editor of the church life magazine Gen's, member of the "Abba School" for Ecclesiology).
Moderating instead will be Declan O' Byme, professor of Systematic Theology.
The bishop of Fiesole, Monsignor Mario Meini, will also be present.
