It will be held on Saturday, May 27, at 9:15 p.m., at Teatro Garibaldi (Piazza Serristori, Figline), the benefit show titled "Various-Ages - Chorus, Musical and Cabaret," organized by the company "Everything Does Broadway Musical&Theatre's Academy" of Florence, under the patronage of the City of Figline and Incisa Valdarno and in collaboration with the Pro loco "Marsilio Ficino."
The purpose of the evening is to raise funds for the Il Sorriso di Enrico association, the non-profit organization established in memory of Enrico Dori (who died in 2014 in a car accident at the age of 20), which aims to build a soccer field, probably in Vaggio, to be named after him.
On the program are two short musicals ("Romeo and Juliet. Love and Change the World" and "Tribute to Notre Dame de Paris"), a cabaret show ("Everything makes broadway kids," with choreography by Maria Bazzani's "I clandestini" company), a concert ("The best of Broadway & West End") and a presentation by Enrico's Smile Association.
The evening will be presented and conducted by Michela Mirabucci. Conducting the choir, however, will be maestro Riccardo Stopponi. In addition, Sergio Forconi and Piero Torricelli will also be present.
You can buy tickets directly on the night of the performance or at the office of Pro loco "Marsilio Ficino" (Piazza San Francesco 16, Figline) every day except Wednesday, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
