From the exhibition "Vittorio Locchi. The Time, the Work and the History of a Young Intellectual," held at the Palazzo Pretorio between March and April 2017 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the death of the Figline writer, a catalog (published by Pacini Editore) was born, which will be presented for the first time on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 5 p.m. at the Marsilio Ficino Municipal Library (on Vittorio Locchi Street-not coincidentally-in Figline).
During the exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Circolo Filatelico Numismatico figlinese, Circolo fotografico Arno, Circolo MCL Fanin and with the support of Adelmo Brogi, Giacomo Beni and Lando Locchi, photographs, objects and autograph manuscripts, belonging to private collections and now accessible in the catalog with illustrated edition, were displayed.
The memory of Vittorio Locchi, the Figline-born poet, playwright, writer and military man, is brought together in this tribute, sponsored and curated by the City of Figline and Incisa Valdarno.
