To be held on May 30, 2016 at the Municipal Stadium "Del Buffa "in Figline starting at 6 p.m., the second edition of "OVER THE BARRIER. A match to win!" promoted by European Human Resources Network (Rerum) and the Municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno, under the patronage of A.I.C. Associazione Italiana Calciatori, in collaboration with Migrantes Foundation, Sophia University Institute, Sbandieratori dei Borghi e Sestieri Fiorentini and with the support of BCC - Banca del Vandarno.
Numerous Paralympic Sports Associations in Tuscany that, in this year that separates us from the first edition held in June 2015, have believed in the Project and concretely collaborated in the realization of a multi-stage path consisting of periodic meetings and "micro events," the latter held in January and April of this year. Their purpose was to give attention and implementation to what is contained in the Charter of Values of the Project "INTERCULTURE 2.0 - The Plural City. Towards a new humanism." A document officially signed last June by all participants and which aims to help ensure that through Sport, Play - extraordinary tools of integration and social inclusion - the "networks" of fencing, which often divide people even in sports facilities, become "networks" of friendship, of relationships between different cultures, ethnicities and religions.
How can universal values related to sports be promoted and disseminated across the board to foster the process of building our cities of tomorrow, which are necessarily going to be constituted with an increasingly plural and intercultural social fabric? From this question that challenges everyone personally comes to life the second edition "Beyond the Barrier. A game to be won!" sports and educational event that will have, again this year, its culmination of involvement and greater appeal through a triangular soccer match at the "Del Buffa" Municipal Stadium in Figline Valdano's Piazza della Libertà 1.
