130 years after the birth of the writer J. R. R. Tolkien, we will embark on a six-date journey to discover his most majestic work, which occupied the writer's entire lifetime and still speaks to millions of people today. This is because, before being an epic novel, The Lord of the Rings is above all a story that speaks to all of us about the eternal struggle of the world: that between light and darkness.
How to interpret and try to make known a universe that has taken a lifetime to emerge? Is it possible to do this with music and words alone? Perhaps the only way to read The Lord of the Rings today is to do so by starting with all those lesser-known parts, to arrive at the most famous and best-loved ones.
Sauron
How can darkness corrupt an individual? Where does it come from, and more importantly, how? The main moments that led Sauron to be the dark lord of Middle-earth.
