Second edition for the series of free meetings entitled "Health Saturdays," promoted by the City of Figline and Incisa Valdarno in collaboration with the Arci Rinascita di Figline club and the Ausl Toscana Centro company and dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles, wellness and prevention.
After the success of the 2017 edition, the City Council decided to double the appointments and spread them over two different periods of the year: the first block of appointments is starting on Saturday, May 12, and focuses on issues related to childhood and adolescence; the second, which will take place next fall, will be dedicated to the older age groups, with special attention to the elderly.
In detail, the spring meetings of the review will start precisely on Saturday 12 and will all be held at the Arci Rinascita club (Via Roma 17, Figline) from 10 a.m. to noon, for a total of four appointments. Curating them, in addition to doctors and health and socio-assistive professionals, will be some representatives from the world of education.
It starts on Saturday, 12, from 10 a.m. to noon, talking about nutrition, with in-depth discussion by pediatrician Giovanni Lauretta (entitled "Diseases, Hygiene and Eating Disorders"), endocrinologist and psychotherapist Luciana Colasanti ("What is the hospital for in eating disorders?") and executive and psychologist Gabriele Zeloni (who, as executive psychologist Childhood and Adolescent Mental Health AUSL Toscana Centro Zona Sud Est, will talk about the psychological aspects of anorexia).
